Australia is quite funny.

And this is a funny show. But some of this must be staged, right?

Have you heard about this? Or was your post just pure syncronicity?

CNNNN is awesome value. If you want more quality Aussie satire, check out Life Support.

I have absolutely no doubt that the segment where they interviewed Texans is authentic.

Life support was quite funny the first time around.

I recall someone - ie who had failed to understand that it was a comedy show - writing in to SBS's feedback program complaining that it was outrageous & irresponsible; that was even funnier.)

But when they tried to replace members of the cast with different people using the same names and personas, I just couldn't adapt.

No I don't think it was staged. I didn't even know that answers to half those questions.

Besides Anti-Intellectualism in American Life is what it's all about.

We have booze, cigs, and girls. What more do we need?

And as far as I'm concerned Al Qaeda is a wing of the masonic order.

lol.

But you also have some of the smartest people in the world. So I wouldn't say "Anti-Intellectualism" is your thing...

You study/ied politican science. I imagine a lot of Texans not knowing what that is. (Like I didn't)

If this is true, it's down to sheer weight of numbers and the law of averages.

Incidentally, did you know that January 25th is Australia Day? This post missed Australia Day by two days. More spookiness.

lol Teigan it's all in your head.

It's the thing of my generation. The only reason I enjoy learning new things is because I'm the most curious person I know. I don't know why - I just am.

I'll tell you though I've met few people like me. This last girl I was with thought that Texas was a town in the United States. (She lives in Austin, TX) I'm not joking and nethier was she. Now grant it, she's only 18 but she's still a high school graduate.

It's not just her though, I've met loads of people like that.

Teigan, Steve is right, there's no spookiness here.

Steve, that's so strange. Obviously not for you... But it's such a difference. I wonder why?

I blame the American Dream.

I guess keep in mind that it is an edited video presentation released in a comedic context.

I mean... President George Bush isn't REALLY stupid. He's just inarticulate and sucks at Public Speaking. His Yale marks were just as high as John Kerry's. JK just so happens to be a decent speaker/kick ass rally dude.

But really, you've come across several dumb girls/idiot guys during your time.

Right?

You say this as though you think I don't know it already.

The question is, Stevo my mate: do you realise that it's all in your head?
